Milestones’ middle school brings subject teachers and support for growing independence together in one K–8 school community. Students build habits that help them prepare for high school, with an emphasis on academic learning and character.

Sports and school life
Middle school sports include flag football, volleyball, basketball and soccer. Contact the office for current teams, schedules and participation details.

The school day and family routines
The academic day is 8:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. The school calendar lists early release and breaks. Paid Extended Day care is available before and after school.

Staying involved
Parent–teacher conferences are scheduled in October and March. Additional meetings may be arranged with advance notice and subject to availability. Read the handbook-based conference answer.

Joining Milestones in grades 6–8
Contact the office about openings for your child’s grade and the intended school year. The same charter enrollment procedure applies, including the lottery and waitlist process when applications exceed available places.
